G. Russell Reynolds

What People Are Saying

“Russell is a force to be reckoned with. The only thing that’s going to stop him is a shotgun at close range.”

-Stephen Snyder casting director/acting coach

“Our praise for G. Russell Reynolds is limited only by the finite amount of adjectives in the English Language. If anyone brings the state of acting to its perfection, it is G. Russell Reynolds.  With regard to acting, one does not watch Russell act, one experiences it. Russell is punctual, professional, athletic, dedicated, resilient, eager, clever, innovative, stubborn, maleable, and capable of deep transformations. His precision is matched only by his tenacity, his tireless search for the sleek and stylish summation of any scene in which he is a part. Simply, an amazing actor whom we were pleased to work with, and so hope to do so again.”

Thanks for everything,

I’ve told you from the beginning that you were an amazing Actor but you’ve managed to continue to blow me away. You’ve improved since the time I started class with Theresa and I didn’t even think it was possible! You’re so talented; you’re so fun to watch (including physically no matter what you say!)  and you deserve to hear it.  I can’t wait to watch you progress in your career, it’s going to be great for you. Heaven on EARTH, that’s what we’re working towards right!  I’m so one of your biggest fans Russell    :)

Russell,

You are a dear friend and a great talent. I’m VERY blessed to have you in the agency. I pray that more film comes in because you’re perfect for that as well as commercials.

Here’s to a brighter, successful new year and beyond!

With love and appreciation to you!

Russell……….

Are you proud of yourself?  Well you certainly deserve to be!  I am proud to know you, much less to be in your movie ‘The Other Cheek’.  The best thing I ever did was email you for a part – and thank you so much for casting me.  You were a pleasure to work with and you have remained a pleasure to know from that time forward.  You never fail to recognize me….even without my ‘Pepper’ wig!  You know how much that means.

You deserve a lot of credit for being such a big person…………..that you invited the entire cast and crew to join you onstage at the premiere – and I, like others, was so honored and thrilled to be there for you.  There aren’t many that have that class – but you certainly do!

You have my utmost confidence, respect and affection.

Sincerely,
Gayle

“Russell Reynolds is committed to the success of the entire project.  When I worked with him, he was willing to help out around the set in capacities other than just acting.  Unlike many actors, he was not entirely self-focused.  He realized he was a piece of a larger production.  Because of this, he demonstrated to me a true commitment to storytelling.”

Being a director definitely has its rewards and perks, but it also has its drawbacks.  On one hand I am blessed with the opportunity to work with such talented people.  I get to help mold a vision into reality by capturing the emotions, the expressions, and the life that each of you so unselfishly bring.  I feel like the proud parent as our distributor raves on and on about the incredible acting, the beautiful people, the amazing special effects and the awe inspiring music.  It is those moments that being a director is like being on top of the world.  Unfortunately, there is a downside.  With so much to organize, to schedule, to oversee, and for a lack of a better term, direct, I miss out on the most rewarding part of the process, and that is getting to spend quality time getting to know each of you personally.  I consider each one of you my friend, and I am proud and honored to have had the opportunity to work with you.  Savage Spirit is a success because each on of you believed in me and in Request Entertainment, and for that I will forever be grateful.  Your talent amazes me, and willingness to do whatever is necessary is inspiring.  To each of you, thank from the bottom of my heart.

You are incredible!!!  Our distributor rambled on and on with excitement about the whole film!  I’m not sure she ever completed a sentence! You would have thought she won the lotto…then again…maybe she did!   Basically, she was blown away and I am too!  We couldn’t have done it with out you and all your hard work.  I can’t thank you enough for giving us 110% everyday and for sharing your talent with us.  The atmosphere on the set was wonderful.  I really appreciate how supportive everyone was of us and each other.  It was rewarding to work with you and to get to know you.  I can’t wait to start the next one!  I think this is just the beginning.   I look forward to working with you again!

Thanks,

“Russell brought the look AND the very difficult Farci accent we needed for “The One Among Us”, we were very lucky to find him.”

“Working with Russell Reynolds was an enlightening experience for me as a director. His remarkable performances, character insight, and passion, really opened my eyes to the depth that a truly skilled actor can bring to a performance. “  Amazing versatility, inner-strength, focused intensity, and pure and simple wisdom: everything you would expect from a highly talented actor, and then some.

I had the privilege of working with Russell Reynolds on the set of “Savage Spirit”.  As a founding member of the ReQuest Entertainment company, along with my partners we are always striving to find talented people to work in our films who exhibit a willingness to get it right, without forgetting how important all others members of the cast and production team are.  Russell is one of those people who loves what he is doing, gives great energy to the whole team and not once did I ever hear a complaint.

Russell has an awesome talent for entertainment and was able to bring a clever spark to the charter he played.  It is my impression that he will be a welcome influence to any project that he may be involved in, in the future.

“Russell Reynolds was such an influence during the making of A Texas Tale that I change the ending giving him more screen time and in return it made the film’s ending ten times better than was originally written.”

-Andrew Bowles
